Overview

Dato 2 is a MAC menubar calendar app. By default, it looks exactly like system time, but when you click it, a calendar is displayed, calendar events, the current time in each time zone, and so on. Calendars and events are read-only. Adding/editing events are not currently supported. The authors have no plans to increase support for the Chinese lunar calendar. # # # # # - Calendar, optionally containing the number of weeks and event indicators. - Next week's upcoming events (customizable) are easy to see. - Time zone, optionally with a custom name. - Custom format for date and time in the menu bar. - Highlight certain days of the week in the calendar. - Search time zone by city (15,000 cities offline). - Supports all calendar services supported by the built-in calendar application (iCloud, Google, Outlook, etc.). - Many in-app keyboard shortcuts for power users. - Global keyboard shortcuts for opening/closing applications. (macOS 10.15 and later) - Supports calendar events with HTML format annotations. - Displays seconds in the menu bar clock or menu. (Optional) - Zoom the "Join zoom Meeting" button on the calendar invitation. - Open calendar events directly from Google Calendar in Google Calendar. - Date and time menu bar text custom color. Use help - Double-click a date in the calendar to open it in the default calendar application. (Support: Calendar, Fantastical 2, BusyCal) - Press the arrow key to change the date in the calendar. - Press the space bar to select today in the calendar. - Slide two fingers through the calendar to change the month, or press the left/right arrow keys while holding down the Option key. - Hold down the Shift and Option keys while pressing the left/right arrow keys to change the year in the calendar. - Clicking the calendar arrow while holding down the Option key allows you to skip a year instead of a month. - In the event details, press Command + C to copy the selected text.
