Nova 2 for Mac is a powerful text code editor. It was developed by the same company as Coda on the Mac, Panic, but Nova exists as an upgraded alternative to Coda. Nova opens files very quickly and has built-in support for CoffeeScript, CSS, Diff, ERB, Haml, HTML, INI, JavaScript, JSON, JSX, Less, Lua, Markdown, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, Sass, SCSS, Smarty, SQL, TSX, TypeScript, XML, YAML, VUE, React and other programming languages. Nova contains built-in extension templates that can be used for rapid development. There are command panels, custom layouts, custom themes, intelligent full project indexing, Git source code versioning (Clone, initialize Warehouse, Fetch, pull, push, Stage, unstage, Commit), built-in static Web server, remote publishing via FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, cloud, and more.
